

Comrie
Elise Comrie is a Canadian-Luxembourgish artist living and working in Luxembourg from her studio at 1535 Creative Hub in Differdange. Originally from Saskatchewan, Canada, she has cultivated a diverse artistic practice influenced by her rich background and extensive education.
As an abstract expressionist painter, Elise is known for her lyrical compositions and innovative techniques. Her work conveys a feeling of emotion, movement, and spontaneity through her vibrant use of color, dynamic forms, and expressive brushwork.
She holds a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Design from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University in Halifax, Canada, as well as a Graduate Diploma and a Master of Arts from the London College of Fashion in London, UK. Her commitment to innovation and sustainability was recognized when she won the prestigious Kering Award for Innovation in Fashion in 2016.
She has exhibited her work in notable venues, including an installation at the London Design Festival in 2018 and the British Embassy in Paris in 2017. Elise has also been featured in the Graduate Spotlight from the London College of Fashion and has participated in interviews with Maison Modern, CBC, and DiffMag.
